Tamarack® Aerospace Names Justin Ryan President and Charlie Johnson VP of Business Development
Tamarack® Aerospace Group, Inc. announced today that it received U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) for its Active Winglet system for the Cessna CJ business jet. The FAA PMA follows the FAA STC validation granted December, 2016.
(Sandpoint, Idaho, January 3rd, 2017) - Tamarack Aerospace Group, Inc. announced today that it received U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for its Active Winglet system for the Cessna CJ business jet. The FAA STC follows the validation of the European Aviation Safety Administration (EASA) STC granted Dec 23, 2015.

Tamarack Aerospace Group pitches Active Winglets for C-130
Tamarack Aerospace Group is offering to work with Lockheed Martin to equip the US Air Force’s (USAF’s) fleet of C-130 Hercules transport aircraft with its ATLAS active winglets which, the company claims, reduce fuel consumption at the same time as extending the service life of the wing.

The first-ever European customer installation of Tamarack’s ATLAS™ Active Winglet system concluded on April 29. The installation on a Cessna Citation CJ aircraft HB-VPF, operated by private hire company JetPingu, took place at Textron Aviation’s Service Center in Zurich, and took approximately 400 man hours to install.

Tamarack Aerospace Group, Inc. announced today that the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) granted a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for Tamarack’s ATLAS™ Active Winglet system for the Cessna (model CE525) CitationJet and its variants, the CJ, CJ1, and CJ1+. EASA certification for the Cessna M2 will follow in 2016.
