In this video, Nick discusses CLmax.
CLmax is an important term that helps relate load factor (the g level that the airplane experiences) to stall. CLmax is a function of Mach number. As you increase your Mach number, your CLmax decreases. An airplane at a higher Mach number will stall at a lower load factor than a comparable airplane at a lower Mach number. We use this relationship in load calculations to account for high speed maneuvers.
