In this video, Jacob will discuss active load alleviation.

Wings are designed to handle certain specific loads. The greater the loads, the more structure (additional weight) required. But with load alleviation wings can be designed with less structure (less weight) and still handle the required load. Load alleviation has been around since the 1970’s and now Tamarack Aerospace has received a Part 23 Certification from the FAA and its European counterpart EASA, for a standalone system. We’ve shown that our load alleviation system, ATLAS, meets or exceeds industry standards, providing dramatically improved fuel efficiency and ride smoothing without the structural weight penalty.
